Animals cannot speak for themselves, so we must be their voice. marine mammals are currently suffering from cosmetic animal testing at local research labs. Investigations have revealed routine physical abuse. This treatment is cruel, unnecessary, and violates federal guidelines. We demand that City Council immediately ban this practice. Modern alternatives exist that are both humane and effective. Countries like Norway, New Zealand, and Australia have already banned these practices. It's time for our city to do the same.
