Why This Matters
Our democracy depends on equal voice, yet ethics rules currently allows special interests to dominate. This undermines public trust and prevents true democratic participation.
We petition County Board to implement campaign finance reform. Specifically, we demand citizen review boards, public reporting, and whistleblower protections.
These reforms have been successfully adopted in cities nationwide. It's time for our district to join them in strengthening democratic accountability.
