Why This Matters

Our democracy depends on fair representation, yet voting procedures currently allows lack of oversight. This undermines public trust and prevents fair representation. We petition State Senator to implement campaign finance reform. Specifically, we demand citizen review boards, conflict of interest rules, and criminal penalties. These reforms have been successfully adopted in progressive jurisdictions. It's time for our district to join them in strengthening democratic accountability.
